What a wonderful quick addition to a meal!

Bought this Great Value Cilantro Lime Rice package in June 2026 for another dish that I didn't make. So it sat. Today I decided to try it by adding to a dish I had in the works - left over 3 Great Value chicken legs - 1/2 yellow onion - a zucchini - a few mini pepper rings and some cooked down left over grape tomatoes to make a sauce. I needed / wanted a starch - so 90 seconds later - it was ready, out of the microwave and added to to old granite small oven roaster I have had forever. Simple, easy and completed another great Great Value products only meal. This senior citizen gives a high five for price and value.

Convenient, strong cilantro flavor

While incredibly convenient, I'm not a fan of 90 second bag rice's flavor and consistency; but I LOVE this one! In particular, I MUST have it as a side with all of my air fryer chimichangas, burritos, empanadas, etc. I like a little lemon splashed on top and some sour cream with whatever quick Mexican dish I'm eating. The cilantro is very strong so some people may not like it as much. I continue to buy a few bags with every Walmart order we like it so much.
