Color is subtle, fabric soft

Color on fabric description appears more true than photo from my camera. Cut edges of fabric are very fuzzy, frays easy. This corduroy will be used for craft items and will be pre washed, with raw edges overcast stitched before washing. Fabric is soft and has drape. It feels like has been pre-washed. Can recommend with current description considerations.

I assumed this was cotton but I suspect polyester cotton blend since it partially melted under my iron. Pretty blue, not as dark as my other navy corduroy , and thinner. Not high quality courduroy but decent for the price
