Got this for my son who always wants to bring a handful of cars and random little treasures with him whenever we leave the house. Before this bag, I was the one carrying everything in a larger backpack or hearing "Mom/Dad, can you hold this?" The size is good for a kid. It fits his little collection of toys, and a few snacks without looking bulky on him. He wears it across his chest and it stays put when he's walking outside. The strap adjusts small enough to fit him. The zipper is smooth and easy for him to open and close on his own. He can grab what he needs without asking for help. There's a smaller front pocket too where he keeps his "special" rocks and whatever else he's collected that day. We just got it so I can't say much about long term durability. The price point is a bit higher than other brands, something to also consider. I can see this little bag being tossed in the washer and coming out fine.
