The collar features a dual-safety design. If your pet becomes trapped, the ratchet release mechanism will loosen the collar as the pet struggles to break free, allowing it to escape quickly. The collar also has a built-in breakaway mechanism; excessive pulling will cause the collar to snap.
If your pet is not accustomed to wearing a collar, mild behavioral disturbances—such as scratching the area where the collar is worn—may rarely occur during the first few days. Ensure the collar is not too tight. Mild adverse reactions at the site of contact, such as itc`hing, redness, or hair loss, are uncommon in cats. These symptoms typically disappear within one to two weeks, and there is no need to remove the collar. In rare cases, the collar may be temporarily removed until symptoms subside. If dermatitis, infe`ction, ecze`ma, or skin lesions appear at the application site, it is recommended to remove the collar; this is rare in cats. If symptoms persist or worsen, please consult your veterinarian.
The collar is waterproof. There is no need to remove the collar when bathing your pet. The active ingredients are distributed throughout the collar’s matrix and diffuse through the lipid layer to the pet’s skin and fur. Even if the lipid layer is partially washed away during bathing, the collar will replenish the active ingredients, and your pet will remain protected. However, prolonged or frequent exposure to water or bathing may shorten the duration of the medication’s effectiveness and should be avoided whenever possible.
The collar provides repellent protection. However, like other products on the market, it is not 100% effective under all circumstances, particularly when exposed to high-risk areas, and cannot completely pre`vent ind`ividual ti`cks from attaching.
Instructions for Use:
1. Place the collar on your pet, adjust it to the correct position, and fasten the buckle
2. Leave 2–3 inches of excess length for future size adjustments.
3. Trim off the excess length.
