Best Choice Products Extra Wide Patio Chaise Lounge Chair, Portable Folding Recliner w/ 8 Positions - Ivory

I'm obsessed with this lounge chair! The pink color is so pretty and vibrant, and it's much bigger and more comfortable than I expected — perfect for really sinking in and relaxing. It also comes with a pillow, which is such a nice touch. My favorite part is how practical it is — it folds up and has handles, so I can easily carry it around or take it with me wherever I go. Love the combination of style and function here!

Straight out of the box, the chair had one significant safety issue, a sharp piece of stray metal that would have cut me if I had not seen it, see pictures. After carefully removing it with pliers, the metal frame surface still had a slight edge to it that will need to be sanded down to make smooth so it won't catch on skin or fabric. Another safety issue - DO NOT ATTEMPT to sit down on the chair without the backrest FIRMLY LOCKED in position. When I did this, the unsecured back of the chair slammed the metal frame very painfully into the side of my face. I'm pretty sure it will leave a bruise. THIS IS ALSO A CHILD SAFETY ISSUE. LOCK THE BACKREST BEFORE SITTING IN IT. Also straight out of the box, there were numerous scrape marks on the white-painted frame and dark gray smudges on the fabric, see pictures. A couple of the minor marks on the fabric cleaned up with a gentle scrub with a wet paper towel, but no other marks on the fabric or frame could be scrubbed off. The frame scrape marks will have to be covered with white paint, but none are large or obvious. They do not appear to go down to bare metal. The fabric combined with the bungee cords made the surface rather stretchy, to the point where my 150 lb body was touching the two underlying supports closest to the fabric surface when I was laying fully on the chair. So, it will be very important to sit down carefully in the center of the chair, avoiding the middle support so as to not injure one's tailbone. The measurements are correct as listed on the webpage. Note that the actual fabric surface is 26.5 inches wide, which is at least a few inches wider than most lounge chairs, so that is really nice, and the primary reason I bought the chair. There is a noticeable new plastic smell which I assume will fade with time and exposure to outside air. In spite of the above, I plan to keep the chair and look forward to using it. I purchased it because I wanted a wide, portable, and foldable lounge chair, and this is wider than most at this price point (I paid $74.99 tax). I also love the lavender/white color scheme and would be happy to take it to the beach. Overall it seems reasonably well-constructed and it appears it will last a while. The carrying handles are well-positioned so the weight is balanced when carrying the folded up chair. Since it lays flat and folds up easily, it could also be a travel cot if needed.
