OMEYA Sketchbook 9"x12", 98lb / 160gsm Mixed Media Sketch Book, Fade Resistant Acid-Free Paper, 60 Sheets Perforated Drawing Pad for Pencil, Marker, Light Watercolor, Sketch Pads for Drawing

This sketchbook compares favorably to my others, of various brands. A couple of small spots and specks were noted on a couple of pages. The front cover is thin cardstock and the back cover is thick cardboard. The pages, which are either off-white or cream (photo with a ruled notebook included for comparison), are thick with no-bleed through. A rough sketch was made using pencil, blue and black gel pens, a red ink pen, three (3) watercolor pencils in various shades of green, brown crayon, light blue colored pencil, and raw umber watercolor paint. Some ghosting was noted from the black gel pen used for the shadow under the eave, no indentations were noted, the paper handled a good bit of pencil erasing, and no buckling was noted in connection with either the watercolor pencils or watercolor paint.

A rough sketch was made using pencil, black gel pen, a red ink pen, three (3) watercolor pencils in various shades of green, brown and green crayons, orange, blue (forgot to note on sketch) and yellow colored pencils, and raw umber watercolor paint. Notations on the sketch were made using blue gel pen. Some ghosting was noted from the black gel pen used for the shadow under the eave, no indentations were noted from the red ink pen, and the paper handled a good bit of pencil erasing, though there was some pilling above the door when repeatedly erasing failed attempts at a 'Fido' plaque. No buckling was noted in connection with either the watercolor pencils or watercolor paint.
