Tips for Use
1.First use: Hold the middle of the string with one hand, then start from the plug end and gently straighten the wire to avoid tangles.
2.Check connections: Make sure all bulbs are screwed in tightly for proper power.
3.If a single bulb doesn't light: Usually the small copper tab inside the socket has lost contact with the bulb bottom. Use a tool to gently pry the tab up a little so it touches the bulb again.
4.Safety note: Bulbs are shatterproof, but still avoid hitting them with sharp objects or bending the wire too hard.

Outdoor lighting...

These are a replacement for another brand as they keep blowing out. I don't have to worry about that now. These bulbs hardly pull any electricity and therefore will last 30,000 hours compared to my previous ones that only last 1,000. These are also plastic, so they are shatterproof and waterproof and can be left outside in the rain and snow. They are 100 feet long and can easily light up the front of my home and my walkway.

plastic bulbs for the win

The bulbs are plastic, which at first I was hesitant about. However, they are less likely to break. The color is not super bright white but not yellow either. They even have an end where other lights can be connected. The cord feels nice and heavy. Very easy to install, the quality is very nice, and the overall appearance is pretty.
