Believing that Walmart had become the purveyor of only the "5B's" (Basic Big Box Boxer Brief), I was surprised to see this G-string style from the iKingsky brand offered in their online store and fulfilled by Walmart. Purchased on curiosity alone, having never worn this style or brand before, I was impressed with the quality and detail of this barely-there undergarment, from the softness of the material and it's fine stitching to the sewn-on brand label on the front of the brief and the little cloth sizing tag on the back of the garment. Yes, it does have a tag which can easily be cut out. Note that although Walmart describes this as a Polyamide and Elastane blend, the tag indicates that it is actually a Cotton/Spandex blend. Pay attention to sizing. If this G-string were denim jeans, then iKingsky's size small could be considered the Slim-Fit Jean and its medium would be considered its Relaxed-Fit Jean. Here's what I mean. Where I typically wear a small at 28-30", iKingsky's size small is 27-29", so I sized up to a medium at 30-32". Although the waist fit comfortably, the center strap at first felt loose at this sizing, like I needed to hem it. However, this looser center strap offered a better all-day comfortable wear so that you failed to notice it, and with the generous pouch front, this G-string provided a natural freedom with support that I have not experienced wearing traditional underwear. I later purchased another style iKingsky G-string in small (27-29"), just to experiment with the sizing, and found that it fit perfectly like the 28-30" smalls of other brands. However, you do become aware at times of the back strap while wearing the smaller sized garment. So, if you prefer a more relaxed support, size up. If instead you like a firm support, size downward relative to the size you are. Overall, this G-string, with its fashion print style, quality fabric, detailed workmanship, and great price offers an alternative to the 5B's. Thank you Walmart.
