Arrived securely packaged and without damage. This pillow is great for side sleepers. I was diagnosed with TMJ (temporomandibular joint). Normal pillows always put pressure on my left ear and jaw bone while sleeping on my side. This pillow supports my jaw, head, neck and the butterfly contoured edges fit between my shoulder and jaw perfectly. In the past I always liked to rest my arm under my pillow. This is not possible with this large, firm, but not hard pillow, since it is designed to rest my arm comfortably in the side groove, giving wrist support and prevent the common issue with blood flow restriction and needle-tingling numbness. It really is contoured to fit my body! The cradling support of this pillow for my upper body is promising to get the many good nights' sleep I have been missing and waking without the aches and pain I've become accustomed to with traditional flat pillows. When flipped over, the pillow has a zippered seam and button snap which will make removal and regular cleaning of the cover a breeze. The materials used in the construction of this pillow is high quality, soft, comfortable and very cooling to the skin which is great for those of us who have a tendency toward becoming overheated during sleep. It's just the right firmness, which tells me it will not lose its shape, effectiveness for restful sleep or flatten over time. I love it!
