The directions were quite good. It went together pretty easily. Those itty bitty screws used towards the end of construction were too small to hold, but they held. The tabletop was heavy. That's the only part that was difficult to attach. The instructions said it would take 1 hour to put it together. It took much more than 1 hour for me to put this table together by myself. It took me that long just to get the one 64 pound box into the house🤣 I had to open it outside and bring it in piece by piece. It looks great in the family room, and it works exactly as described. The coating on the pieces, and especially the waterproof top really help to keep it clean when things get spilled or dropped. Real wood looks better to me, but cleanup is much easier with the laminate top. The bench is very low, but the three drawers really store a lot of stuff out of sight. The description said it would seat 4 to 8 people. No, not even 8 children would be able to eat at the table. Four might make it, but two for sure. I would buy this again.
