This will be effectively utilized in October. I work with children of various age groups, and each day, one child will have the opportunity to open a small compartment and discover a figurine. Each figurine will be displayed on our shelf until the end of the month, at which point each child will be able to take their figurine home (with the consent of their parent or guardian).

Cute idea with the advent calendar, and works well. Although the outside of the box shows every design, so might ruin the surprise. (Individual days are still a mystery, though.) The sets go together well with good enough instructions, but some of the builds fall apart pretty easily. And in case you missed it from the images like I did, you can't build every model at the same time. The larger models require you to disassemble a few of the smaller ones and use those parts for the big model.
