Pioneer Camp Packable Lightweight Quilted Puffer Jacket Women's

I fell in love with this the minute I laid eyes on it and when I tried it on! It's labeled a Puffer Jacket, but it wasn't thick. It's lighter weight and flattering. The fit was a perfect 2x. It states it was made for hikers, and in fact, it comes with a small nylon bag that can be attached or detached directly to the inside of the coat. Additionally, a small, lightweight zippered bag made to hold the coat is included. Brilliant! This brand is known for products that provide great insulation without the bulk. This is an outstanding choice for any sport and any type of weather, with providing a nice-looking and comfortable coat for everyday wear! The black color goes with everything, and it's actually slimming, unlike the traditional puffer jackets.

The Pioneer Camp Puffer Coat is an excellent lightweight jacket that's perfect for travel and everyday wear. The jacket came with a small carrying pouch and compresses down into a very small package, making it easy to pack in a suitcase or backpack. The jacket is lightweight and rated 'warm' but I did not see a rating. It is waterproof and windproof. There are many pockets, zippered outer and an inside pocket big enough for a phone and glasses. My only concern is the sizing. I received a 2XL as part of the Recognized Reviewer program. If it were a true-to-size 2XL, I would have expected it to be much larger. Instead, my wife, who normally wears a medium and prefers a slightly loose fit, found it to be just a bit 'large'. The sleeve length and jacket length were good, and there was enough room for layering underneath, but not the room she would have expected. For someone who normally wears a true 2XL, however, this jacket would likely be quite snug. Overall, this is a very well-made, attractive, and functional puffer coat. If ordering, be mindful of the sizes and how many layers you may want and the snugness. I think it is an excellent choice for staying warm and packing light.
