No excess packaging all parts are easily found. 1 plug electronics within steering column. Tuck wires into steering column. Steering wheel screw hole wasn’t cleared for screw. I used a skewer to ensure path. The column must be supported from beneath the chassis to allow the steering wheel to sift properly. Three hands minimum. 2 The loose red wire is to be connected to battery, it’s a safety precaution for safe shipping to have this disconnected. 3 To install the seat first remove the two front screws and positioned them in the front corners of the seat to secure. Be certain all wires are free of the raised supports under the seat. 4 Overturn car to remove rubber band and prepare to install wheels . Examine both axles as all the 7 washers were at one wheel. Distribute 6 among three wheels as the fourth wheel is the drive. Then turn chassis on side to ensure axles are as far top as possible. The cotter pin is removed to add washers %26 slide wheel in place. Add cotter pin and hubcap which has two holes to snap into place. 5 The mirrors aren’t mirror-like but they add an overall likeness to a road worthy vehicle. 6 The windshield requires a tilt and fit finesse with some degree of force. 7 The battery was charged to some level and we were able to operate it immediately. However, we stopped after a very brief run to fully charge it properly. Plug charger into the dash and your home electrical outlet. I found the box was ideal to place it while charging. This is a small and cute and fun toy! I think a small child who isn’t familiar with operating a vehicle would enjoy the ride as an eager parent will enjoy the safe remote control. Eventually a child may enjoy the sounds they find when touching the flat dash board display. The lights and voice is quite fun! The revving engine sound is whimsical! There is a very happy lyrical Song! Some other sounds I wasn’t clear?
