I needed something to be snug but not uncomfortable for under a dress. Love these and wore them all day, even throughout a 3-hour flight, and they were very comfortable. I put them on around 8:30 am and didn't take them off till 11:30 pm after arriving home, walking throughout a graduation, lunch, rushing through the airport, and sitting down for about 3 hrs. I was looking for something like shorts but with a little bit of like girdle type of undergarment, and these were perfect . I even forgot i had them on. That's how comfy they are.
