These are not swim trunks. Despite what the description says, there is no mesh lining inside. And they're made with a thin, silky polyester that clings to *everything* when wet, not the stiffer, water-resistant fabric most swim trunks are made of to avoid that. My kid still likes the look of them and will wear them as regular shorts, so we're not returning them. But we do have to buy a different pair of swim trunks now, as these will definitely not work for that purpose. I ordered two sizes up from their usual U.S. size, as these are Asian sizing, and that fits well. They ship internationally, so it takes a bit longer to arrive.
