Umbro Club Jersey Adult Men's Sizes S-XXL

The fit is true to size. The material is very soft and comfortable, and the quality is honestly better than I expected for the price. I like the way it looks, very sporty. Great for casual evenings or even a day at the poolside.

I'm not actually a huge soccer fan. In fact, as a New Jerseyan with an office in Manhattan, I actually wish soccer would have stayed "over there" where it belongs. It's a ROW obsession, and bringing it to our shores has only made my life of commuting around the metropolitan area, already an unenviable torture, so much the worse. It isn't bad enough that we have football games at the Meadowlands, we needed to double down on traffic nightmares? Okay. That having been said, it is remarkable to me that soccer, that little kids game I did when I was one, has become a cultural phenomenon, or at least the network blowhards are doing their level best to make it one. And, in a bow to those trying so hard to make it cool, I'm covering my bases by adding a soccer-themed garment to my streetwear rotation. Sadly, when I found this shirt listing on Walmart, what I would argue is the best color, a sort of aqua blue, was already out of stock in most sizes (including my own). I settled for more of a royal, not navy, blue, and it's quite a nice color. Had I not seen the best one and known I wasn't able to get it, I would've been quite satisfied with this version. And, I have to say it's quite a cool shirt. I'm not generally a polyester fan, but here it's not an attempt to seem like cotton but an alternative style expanding the wardrobe. It's legit a sports jersey material, though I wear it paired with blue jeans. When it gets a little cooler I'll wear it with cords too, and jean jacket on top. The color is exactly as pictured, the workmanship unassailable--not a loose string to be found. The Umbro logo seems to convey "I'm with the times". As a slightly taller person (over 6'), I do wish this had a longer torso so everyone doesn't have to see my gut overhang when I raise my arms. That's a consideration that rules this out as a gym T, because I can't very well do lat pull-downs with a shirt that doesn't fall well below the waist. But for you lucky normy's in the mid 5' range this should be a great top for exercising in too. If I could change one thing about this shirt (apart from making it longer, and that unavailable aqua color), it would be making it machine dryable. This handled the washing machine on cold setting with a Tide pod just fine--no shrinkage--but needed to be hang dried. Not the end of the world, but I do try to avoid those if I can. My sense of the value for this is that you're paying a premium right now for soccer paraphernalia likely at its pricing zenith at this very moment, destined by Christmas to trade at a third the price. Maybe by later this summer. The quality is there, but so is the hype du jour.
