This is a very nice set. It is labeled for cats but it is great for dogs too, even big dogs like mine. I am usually home but my dog is very demanding for water. He carries his old almost empty water bowls and food bowls to me wherever I am in the house and drops them in the floor. I was tired of stepping in puddles so I bought this set. Each container holds a gallon. It is definitely big enough to feel confident that your pets have water and food if you are away from home. I cook one meal a day for my dog but I leave dry kibble out all day for him if he gets hungry. This auto feeder and auto water dispenser is perfect for us. It is easy to assemble or disassemble for filling or cleaning. It comes with rubber pieces that you pop into the base to help prevent your pet from scooting it. The water dispenser has a part on the lid that prevents the water from coming out until it touches the base, so it is not messy and doesn't spill water when you are replacing the water container. The food container is easy to fill also, just pop off the top and fill with food. It comes with an extra cap for the water dispenser.

Easy to assemble. Love the stainless inserts which are easily removable for cleaning. Sturdy and same size so fit well in a smaller space. I've used other gravity fed feeder/water combos and like the features this unit provides.
