The press works best using a 1/4 pound of beef, Ground turkey or ground chicken,once pressed it makes an ideal size and shape burger. The press itself is heavy with a design center and border to give you an idea of what size the burger will be. It came with spice rub container and a spatula as well. The spatula is weighed and wide making flipping burgers on your grill easy, it also has 3 openings to allow grease to drain when picking up the burger. The spice container allows for easy shaking of your favorite spices , a sturdy handle and a plastic lid to quickly close it once finished using to prevent spilling . This is diverse enough to use for both indoor cooking or out door grilling. If using in doors the spatula is too wide for my liking but the press and seasoning container is useful.
