These luggage straps are wide and sturdy and feel like they should hold up well during travel. The buckle is large and stays securely connected once it is snapped together. It actually takes a little effort to release, which I consider a good thing when my luggage is being tossed around during transport. Adjusting the strap is super easy, and it gets large enough to fit different size bags. I tried it on both a carry on and a larger checked bag with no problem. There is no lock on the strap, which I actually prefer. There is no combination to remember and no concern about TSA needing to cut the strap off to inspect the bag. The bright orange color is another big plus. It makes my luggage much easier to recognize from a distance and could help keep someone from accidentally grabbing my bag. Orange is also commonly associated with caution, so hopefully that bright warning color gives anyone with the wrong intentions one more reason to stay away. For the price, these seem like a good value. I would recommend them for adding some extra security and visibility to your luggage while traveling.
