Nice sturdy bedframe

One of the easiest things I've ever put together. I have a guest bed that was just in the floor, but I thought this would make for a better bed and a cleaner setup overall. Padded rails and crossbars add a bit more comfort by keeping the box spring from sliding and likely add a bit of sound dampening as well. Raised this bed about 6" from the floor so guests don't have to squat down or work harder to rise. There's even a place for the cats to hide now! It took 10-15 minutes to assemble with few tools and a total of 8 bolts The legs are metal, and not wood. The only parts that aren't metal are the rubber footpads and the padding along the rails and crossbars. Everything else is steel. I'm pretty pleased with this. Should last a lot longer than I will, and will likely outlive the mattress that sits above it. It's a little loose at the center when you pick it up, but I don't plan on picking it up anytime soon. Comes with brackets to attach a headboard as well. It's adjustable with little effort to accommodate a longer mattress up to 81" We love it!
