From toddler bed to twin

The only thing I did not like is that mattress you buy is on the floor. I assumed there would be some type of low boards….. I didn't read it close enough I guess. We ended up having to buy a low profile metal bed frame to put the mattress on. She is 2 and likes having a bigger bed.

Would not recommend...would like to return.

This led me to believe with a discription of "close to floor design" that there was still a a mattress support like wood slats or base frame. It also states holds up to 500 pounds. It dose not have any sort of base. It is litterally for you to surround a matress thats sits directly on the floor. I got this to transition my toddler from ger crib. I wanted something low for saftey but not durectly on the floor and wanted at keast a few inches lift. On top of this misinformation the frame actually comes with a sticker warning that says it only supports 250 pounds. So thats not the 500 adverted. And its flimsy so when you want ti move it to clean around, you need to remove the whole mattress then be careful moving the frame in equal distribution since there is no center support it can just break if pulled on. I dont recomend.
