Terrible for pet hair

Terrible for pet hair. The first couple times I used it - it did great! Definitely not something that would work good on carpet. But we have only hardwood so I thought it’d be good. Well it won’t empty dog hair into the Big Bin, so I have to flip it upside down and take it all apart and empty the tiny compartment every single time I use it. The mopping feature sucks. It sprays a thimble of water down and runs over it with a little pad half the size of a dollar bill. If I move the furniture just a couple inches it’s all jacked up so it’s like every time you tell it to go you have to make it do a NEW map first. It’s constantly getting stuck on things - like under the couch - it’s supposed to have an “eye” to see it can’t go under there but it doesn’t. This is a terrible product. I bought it for $200 on Black Friday and wished I kept my money now.

The vacuum returned to charge and empty backwards. Although the vacuum discharge and charge plate were on one side, it tried to connect backwards. Backing up and trying to connect backwards. Entertaining to watch for several minutes at a time until you manually picked it up and put it on the charger correctly.

Splurge on the Roomba.

Pretty sure this was a total waste of money. You have to download one of two apps to use it, which feels weird that there are two and not just a designated “goovi” app. They tell you to download either “Tuya”which is an AI app or a vague “Smart Life” app. The Tuya app has horrible reviews and I am not sure I even want to attempt the other app based on the Tuya reviews. I doubt it will map the space correctly without the apps although it did start up and attempt to vacuum without app use. The vacuum feature was surprising loud. Feeling like this wasn’t worth the hassle and I missed the return window. Disappointed with purchase, do not recommend.
