Easy to install; perfect size!

This compost trash can is the perfect size and easy to install. The hook can just slip over the door and the trash can onto the hook. From the outside of the cabinet, the hook shows a little, but it is not unsightly. I have this installed just below our coffee maker, so the grounds can be disposed of easily only to be used in my flowerbeds later. The small size is not a problem because of the way I plan to use it. My intentions are to throw the coffee grounds in to the trash can. It will only be there long enough for the contents to be scattered on the garden area. The smaller size will fill up quickly , so the contents won't be ready to mold.

So much better than the city provided one

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that this is half the size of the one provided by the city. It's small enough to stay by the sink without getting in the way. It's also much more attractive. Being able to hang on the cabinet door makes it so much easier for peeling and chopping scraps. And when I want it out of sight, I can hang it on the inside of the cabinet door. Lastly, the removable lid lets me keep it against the wall when I need to put something in as opposed to my old one where I have to hold the lid open or pull it away from the wall.
