This was a purchase for size. we went to a king bed so I needed a king blanket. One concern I had was the weight of a king sized electric blanket. This one is very light comparatively. Out of the packing, there was no factory odor, so it went right on the bed. It heats up very quickly which is great. I like the timer feature. Two things I wish they improved are a light on the heat setting that stays on all night and a longer cord because this one barely reaches the night stand. All in all, so far so good.

Great Electric Blanket, soooo soft

I bought this Sunny Heat Electric Heated Blanket for my Mom. She called me when she received it and her words were "I love, love, love this blanket". Our next phone call she told me she loves it because it is so soft, so warm, and it has an extra long cord for plugging it in, which is great because it isn't left dangling so she doesn't have to worry about tripping on it. I did a lot of comparisons and this one fit the bill at a very competitive price.
