The vacuum easily converts into a hand held Dustbuster. The cord is long enough to clean my entire living room. I would not recommend this for homes with thick wall-to-wall carpet. I bought this for a garden shed converted to a playhouse. It is super light and very effective, and the small size is perfect for the space. The suction is good for dirt, grass and crumbs. I would recommend this vacuum cleaner for RVs, small rooms, and for children who are learning to help clean. Would be too small for large spaces.
