I'm pleasantly surprised by these shorts. I ordered my usual bike shorts size of large and they did mention in the description that true size would be high compression and to size up if you want a more relaxed fit. These are high compression, but they actually fit well and feel good once on. I honestly didn't know if my bottom would fit as my hip/bottom is 45” around. They stretch well and are not too tight on my thighs. They are also a nice thickness and are not thin or see through. The fabric is really great quality and has a soft ribbed texture. I really like how much compression they have on my hips and how much support they provide. They're excellent for leg day weight lifting for me. I did not expect to like these as much as I do or to find them as functional as they are. Having a larger bottom, I do think I'm maxing the size large out and the scrunch butt feature isn't that noticeable on me. They do still look great and are very flattering. I like that they're great for lower abdomen and hip support, but I do not think the v waist would be very supportive with a larger upper tummy if you're looking for control in that area. My waist is 30” for reference. Overall I'm extremely happy with these and am happy with the compression and fit of them. The shipping was very fast too.
