Storm season essential power bank backup

Living in storm-prone Central Florida, a reliable power bank is an essential part of my emergency preparation. Having a backup power source to keep my phone and iPad charged during power outages gives me peace of mind. Setup was straightforward, even for someone who has never used a power bank before. The display is large, clear, and easy to read. I do not have the best vision, but I had no trouble seeing the charging percentage and status information. Overall, this is a very intuitive piece of technology. One thing to note: the power bank includes the charging cable, but it does not include the wall charging adapter. You will need a USB-C power adapter. Fortunately, these chargers have become extremely common in many households, especially with newer phones, tablets, and electronics. However, my tech is rather antiquated, so I had to hunt. Once I located the correct adapter, charging the power bank was simple and fast (it took me longer to locate a charging cable than it did to charge the bank). I tested the power bank with my iPhone, and it immediately recognized the device and began charging. The included cable feels sturdy and well made. Floridians typically experience multiple power outages throughout the year during storm season. I plan to top off the power every few months, and keep it handy for one of those inevitable outages. It's nice having something compact, reliable, and easy to use during an emergency. As a bonus, it comes with a storage pouch.

Well made.

This is lower than 20,000mah. Its really not much smaller than that one and its slightly more than half at 12,800. It is a square type shape instead though. Its also a little lighter. It also has the full feature set of the other and shows the charging spec going in and out albeit one at a time. This is actually a really great feature. You can know how fast you are charging either way. You can spec plugs this way too and know exactly what you're getting. I have two from this company and they are great banks. This one includes a little bag and cord as it has no cords preattached.

Peace of Mind

Great to have a charger for unexpected extended power outages, as well as for extended battery life when away from the grid. Nice that it has multiple input and output mechanisms, rather than designed just for a phone, tablet, etc. The small size is definitely preferable to large back-up power sources that are less than convenient or mobile. Surprised that it can charge multiple devices simultaneously. Lost power at my home for several hours, multiple times in one day this week due to storm activity. Had not received this yet and wasn't interested in setting up the solar generator in the middle of the night. Having this charged and ready would have been a much better option. The charging/powering time, whether for input or output, is not fantastic - I assume speed will depend upon which type of connection. I will have to test the options. It is quite slow/short-term with the standard phone charger. But, the convenience and flexibility offsets those aspects. For me, it will definitely be an 'emergencies-only' tool. Will gather all the possible cords and store them with it since it only comes with one type. The instructions could be much more comprehensive, not just a small fold-out with pictures. In comparison, the included warnings are quite extensive. Maybe if the instructions were more expansive, the warnings would not need to be so detailed and long-winded.
