➤How to Replace the Grinding Bits

Step 1: Remove the old bit

Flip the cleaning brush over and use the tail end (handle tip) to gently pry up the existing grinding bit from the round port on top of the device. Pull it straight out vertically.

Step 2: Choose your bit

Alloy drill bit — for cleaning nail gaps, removing cuticles, and shaping hard edges

Wool buffing bit — for polishing the nail surface to a smooth, glossy finish

Step 3: Insert the new bit Align the metal pin of the new bit with the round port on the top panel. Push it straight in until it clicks into place.

Step 4: Ready to use Press the filing button to start the motor, and gently move the bit against your nail.

Why fight it when this is so easy!

First I'm a guy, and an older one. One thing they do not tell us is how things change over time, not necessarily for the better. I always figured nail clipping was required, but no an actual art form, but after loosing toenails to frostbite and injury, and the general ravages of age, it dawned on me that I had better put thought into it before I cut off a toe hacking away at the nails with various kinds of clippers. This thing is amazing and I am still not entirely sure what all it does, but it does do a great job of grinding and polishing nails! Very gentile grinder works on thick, thin, soft, and hard nails, I am even using it on my cats, who have yet to object to having the sharp tips buffed down and seem, in some cases, even to enjoy it. One issue I have is that my own nails always grew back just a bit more messed up than before, including very rough nail surfaces and split nails that tend to catch on socks! This toy is excellent for grinding the ends smooth and polishing out the rough places on nail surfaces and split ends. Charging is quite simple, standard USB-C cable which is long enough to get to ports. You cannot use it while charging but that is likely a very good safety consideration Very glad I picked it up and am looking forwards to checking out various functions; already ground and polished my nails so it is a solid win!
