I like these shorts for outdoor activity as the are light, breathable and allow for freedom of movement. These are great at soaking up any sweat and quickly drying. The red color is nice and rich. The pockets are well designed to not interfere with movement and are deeper than I expected. There is also an interior storage pocket that allows for bills or ID. The waistband is nice and comfortable. The fit on these is true to size.

Too small. When I selected the item, I elected L (Large) size. What I got, and what the order shows, is S (Small). Turns out they will fit ... snugly. The rather lengthy sizing tag lists: US S, EU M, CN L, JP L. Maybe I did order L, and got CN L, but I'm in the US. The tag says the material is 90% polyester and 10% spandex, so they should not shrink. Very stretchy fabric, so won't bind when bending legs at waist. Definitely don't need the snug tie in the waistband, so pulled it out since I don't want a tied up knot pressed into my belly, or the elastic waistband to be any tighter. Because there is no liner, and the length is akin to short shorts, you might want to wear some nylon bikini briefs or thong underneath if you're an extended fellow. The pockets will also hang below the bottom of the shorts unless you don't stow anything in them. They are deep, so I might fold up the bottom to sew at a shorter pocket depth. They are a nice fabric for swim trunks. If not for the sizing error (perhaps my fault), and a bit of privacy issue with no liner, I'd like these a lot. I'll make sure to order US L next time.
