I've been a longtime Bentgo customer and already own their plastic snack box, so I was excited to try this new stainless steel version. I really appreciate the upgrade from plastic to stainless steel — it feels like a healthier and more premium option for everyday use. The snack box has a great overall size, and the compartment layout works well for packing a variety of snacks for kids. The stainless steel tray feels durable and high quality, and I also love that it's dishwasher safe, which makes cleanup much easier. The leakproof design is another big plus and helps keep snacks contained during travel. That said, there are a couple of drawbacks. The lid is extremely heavy — much heavier than I expected for a snack container — which may be difficult for younger kids to handle independently. Also, because the tray compartments are asymmetrical, the lid only fits one specific way, so you have to pay attention when closing it. Overall, this feels like a durable, high-quality upgrade from the original plastic version, especially for families looking for a stainless steel option. While the heavy lid could be improved, I still think it's a solid product with thoughtful design and premium materials.
