This is the second camera like this I have received and it is amazing! It is in two parts that magnetically attach as a single item too. Together, it functions like a little camera that you can use to take video and images with, and the LCD screen lifts up so that you can see the screen while the camera faces you if you want to take selfie images and videos. But the coolest thing is that the camera disconnects from the main unit and can be attached to clothing or placed nearby and wirelessly transmits its view to the base unit so you can remotely see what the camera is seeing. You can then remotely capture images and video that way too. It's very impressive for a small device. The phone app (optional) could use some work. It is needed to automatically set the date and time on the camera (cannot be done with just the camera). It also has a (scary?) "feature" in the app to disable the green LED on the camera so it can be used to record pictures and videos while also appearing to be off... Otherwise, this little joy to behold is really well-made and a whole lot of fun for active people who want a small HD camera to clip onto themselves and record their activities without resorting to anything bulky. Highly recommended!
