I've looked a number of these pool play sets and opted for this because of the range of games, but mostly due to the construction of the piece. I didn't want an inflatable base, so this one was perfect. It was super easy to put together, so don't be alarmed by the number of pieces when you open the box. My kids are 21 and 23 respectively and I got this for them to play with their friends because they are active in the pool. The good news is this is holding up well (as we speak). They are not being gentle with the balls either! I will say that the little balls are not recommended for a 2 year old, and in all honesty, I'd be amazed if they last the weekend because they are flying out of the pool at a quick rate. The blue balls (blown up with the provided pump) are very industrious and are made to last. They are having fun just throwing those into the game piece. All in all, while this is made for small children, I'd argue that it's just as much fun for adults. This will definitely last the season (plus). I think you will find that your child makes up their own games, too!
