Hair must be long to use this

I would call this more of a waver than a curler. The curls are less tight, so your hair needs to be long for this to work. After combing your hair it's more like waves than like curls. The curls can go away or towards your face with the forward/reverse button, and the heat itself stays in the unit's center to prevent your hands from getting burned. I still will need my other curler, but this is a pretty handy device and well worth the price.

I tried this curler and I really liked the results. It heated up very fast and made curling my hair so much easier and quicker than I expected. A great upgrade to traditional curling irons! I love that this protect my fingers and scalp from burns, the outside does not get hot either. It curls left and right at just the push of a button too, no funny arm angles to figure out. Worked well on my medium length hair and my daughter’s slightly shorter hair. I love the automatic shutoff feature too, in case I or my teen forget to turn it off.
