Great for motorcycle riding

Well, i have never owned 360 camera so x5 is my first one and i really liked it. I got 1 year of insta360+ which is also a benefit. I think for 360, 8k is a must. Other impressive thing is how device handles wind noise without anything installed. i am very impressed.

Solid 360 camera, easy to use out of the box.

Solid 360 camera.  I upgraded from X3 and am getting significantly improved video straight from the camera.  The editing app is much improved as well.   I went 3 years with X3 and no lens issues, but wind knocked my new X5 first time out and I was able to replace the lens with the repair kit.   Menu structure is easy to follow, screen is very usable (I am 69 so !!!).

Phenomenal performance!

This is most definitely a step up from my previous X3! Since I've gotten it, I have used it for aerial 360 shots of my backyard (for a landscaping project), a timelapse sunset (2 hours of recording gave me 48 seconds of Zen video), a ride around my neighborhood last night via my Spyder RT Limited and the selfie stick motorcycle mount! I can't wait to record more of my rides as well as general photography using the different modes. Going to use Starlapse in November when I visit Big Bend TX to capture the night sky as it's a Dark Sky site!
