As with any electronic device that is housed in a hot harsh environment the lifespan of this type of lighting system depends on much more than the overall quality of the product. I installed this light set in a 2000 Toyota Rav4. As far as this lamp set is concerned they have fans that come on when the headlamps are turned on, this is a feature not always found in the lower price range of LED headlamps. The body of the lamps are made of aluminum that is thin enough to dissipate heat quickly and at the same time be reasonably sturdy. The retainer rings for the fans are also color coded high and low beam which is a plus. When I installed these lamps I took photos of the output of the original halogen bulbs and then compared them to the new LEDs. Please adjust your headlamps lower, much lower, so that you are not blinding all of the oncoming traffic. The LEDs landed the top range of the light around five feet from the ground, I was parked about twenty feet away from the garage door. The halogen lights top range landed around three feet off of the ground. If you look at the photos I posted with this review the shot sitting in the dark street was with the low beams. They light up way more and farther in front of the vehicle than the halogen bulbs did, with the top of the beam set the same as the halogen beams were. They also illuminate a considerably larger area directly in front of the vehicle. I did not have any issues with flicker with these headlamps, the manufacturer claims that their light assemblies are designed to address this issue in NEARLY all vehicles and they offer a workaround solution if you do have an issue. When I hit the switch to turn on the lights, there is instant light, very bright white light. It is taking me a little getting used to the way the LEDs illuminate things in front of my vehicle. However, I am convinced that I will be able to see ANY object at least a block away and street signs are way easier for me to read due to the way these LEDs, with 4 strips vs 2 strips, illuminate things in front of my automobile. Installation was about the same as a standard halogen bulb, plug and play! There is a little block in the wire harness that should be secured I tied them together with the enclosed zip ties to make sure the would not flop around or end up making contact with moving engine parts. This light set is polarized, meaning that they have a definite positive and negative side at the plug assembly. The plugs are marked and if there is no light after installation unplug the connector and flip it over.

lights really bright, came in a pack of 4 and yes it did fit my odyssey 2006 loved them i can see way better at night
