I was a professional barber and hairstylist and cut family hair now that I retired so after years of using the same hair tools I decided to try these and they worked great. Yesterday I tried out this 13 piece set on my husbands hair. First I used the clothes protector that ties in back instead of snapping and I liked it a lot. Although lightweight it protected well and the tie was more adjustable than the one I use with snaps. Then the scissors worked great they are not too heavy, they opened and cut easily and felt good on my hand. The thinning shears were light weight but solid feeling and worked well to blend in the shelf I accidentally cut and to thin out the unruly areas. I used the blender comb for the back of his neck and it worked well to taper his neckline. The other combs are lightweight but dont bend or feel cheap. I didn't use the two razors because I had no blades for shaving and I didn't need the hair razor. But they felt good and well shaped in my hand. I used the hair sweep brush which is really soft and small. It worked ok but I prefer my larger sized one. The hair clips were not needed but the seemed well made. I recommend these.

Good grip, light weight. The scissors cut good and cuts smoothly. Good for personal use and professional to start off.
