The metal frame is very sturdy.

I didn't have high hopes for this bed frame, but after receiving it and assembling it completely, I was pleasantly surprised. It doesn't make a sound when I lie down, the metal frame is very sturdy, and it looks beautiful. If you have a limited budget，I‘d say this is a great choice.

At first I was very skeptical about this bed, because come on a rustic vintage bed… It wasn't hard to put together but I will admit you will need at least 1 or 2 other people helping you out and the headboard is not that very high as shown or as I would like it to be. The foot part can have another wooden piece down there as well. Other than that yess it's a great purchase!
