I like Fitcam X however, in my 2026 sequoia i noticed if you use apple car play it kicks the camera off the "App" so you cant instantly pull footage, you will have to pull it from the SD card which is a pain... Overall, i like the camera i just wish i could pull up what i want without having to give up my apple car play. It serves its purpose i suppose...

Hello KJ! Sorry for the inconvenience. Since CarPlay takes priority over the dash cam's Wi-Fi connection, we recommend against using them simultaneously. For daily use, there is no need to keep the dash cam's Wi-Fi connected constantly, as it begins recording automatically the moment the vehicle starts. You only need to connect to the dash cam's Wi-Fi when you wish to review the recorded footage. Hoping this will be helpful, and please feel free to reach us if any other questions or feedback.
