bed is very soft. my dog has poor mobility in her hips and is able to easliy get off the bed. the foam is egg crate style and the top side of the cover is wool style and soft.

I bought this on sale 19.99 plus tax of course and glad I did. He seems happy with it. Just hoping he doesn't start digging into it. Fingers crossed! It is egg foam shaped inside. Was easy to put the cover on it and zip it up. Seems soft to touch.
