The fabric is VERY soft. I wouldn't call it tummy control, but they do go up high in a good way. I did feel like they thinned out since I was really stretching the size I bought in the thighs. However, I feel these are the type of leggings you wear under dresses anyway.

Good price BUT I would only recommend IF you realized they run very SMALL in size and are made of a thin material. I purchased these for my daughter who normally wears a medium/large. I even bought an XL just in case they ran smaller. After trying them on they were very tight although she did like the style, I would have ordered a XXL to fit her normal medium more comfortably.
