Unfortunately, I did not realize there is a difference in the width even when it says one size. The filters I ordered were 20X20X5 but were really 20X20X5 1/4 and do not fit. The one the furnace servicing company sold me was actually 20X20X4 3/8 and I didn't realize the difference until I went to change the filter at 4 months, as I was instructed. A word to the wise.

I bought some size 16X26X5 inch filters from a competitor during the pandemic to stock up. When I finally got to using that stock, I found that they were mismarked 4" filters.
