GET THE FASHION FACTS:

What is a Shirtdress? A Shirtdress incorporates features from a traditional men’s shirt, including a collared neck, a button-down front, and cuffed sleeves. A Shirtdress typically falls straight from the shoulders, similar to an elongated shirt, typically crafted in crisp, structured cotton poplin or soft, draped silk or denim.

How does a Shirtdress fit? The Shirtdress offers customizable structure—you decide how much of your figure to reveal. Most Shirtdresses include a matching fabric belt or are designed to be cinched with any belt to create the waistline you want. Without a belt, it is a relaxed shift style that skims over the body without clinging. The Shirtdress is incredibly adaptable for apple, pear, athletic, and hourglass body shapes.

Why is the Shirtdress a wardrobe powerhouse? The Shirtdress solves the-what-do-I-wear dilemma by offering a look that is inherently modest yet stylish. The Shirtdress can be worn with loafers for a professional look, unbuttoned over jeans as a long duster coat, or paired with heels for a modern take on evening wear.

Beautiful and versatile

Beautiful dress. Excellent quality and very elegant. I disagree with other reviews that this has too much fabric. I think k the volume is very feminine and give this dress the perfect amount of drama. This is a versatile dress, the silhouette is feminine and dramatic, but the fabric keeps it grounded. So you can make it romantic, sophisticated, casual, slightly artsy, or even a little equestrian depending on the shoes and belt. This is true to size. I got it in XS My weight: 120 lbs My height: 5,2

High quality detail and material.

Interesting fit and design. True deep denim wash color. Great length for taller frames, the smocking detail and the belt keep the dress from being typical. Those same details may not work on plus sizes or larger framed women. There are a LOT of buttons down the front fastened with loops rather than button holes. This can make for easy on and off. The buttons have a strip panel behind them so they won't gap-another higher quality detail in this dress. Overall it is well constructed and not a common design. I would highly suggest trying it on to be sure it works for you. If it does, you will love it!

Perfect to dress up or down

Got his for a dinner I have to go to. It is perfect for a more dressy occasion with a pair of heels and nice jewelry or more casual with a pair of boots and a scarf. Very well made. I'm 5'9” and it hits right below the fullest part of my calf. The skirt has the volume you'd expect in a more expensive dress and it has pockets!
