Carrington Farms Semolina Flour Durum Wheat, 24oz

Delicious! I bought this semolina flour specifically to make homemade couscous, and it did not disappoint. The texture is incredibly fine and yields a beautifully soft, fluffy result every single time. It holds together perfectly without getting mushy.

I've been using my 00 pizza flour for dusting the countertop when making my pizza, and dusting my peel. And sometimes it was OK, sometimes it was horrible. I did some searching online and everyone said to use semolina. So I grabbed some with my last grocery pickup, and it was amazing. SUCH a difference for me at home making my homemade pizzas in my oven in the kitchen. Absolutely NO issues sticking to the peel, either getting it on or launching it into the oven. I even have one of those sliding peels that are supposed to work so well, but they don't give as much protection for the pizza once it's in the oven - and my pizza stone got totally gnarly after just a few weeks since too much dough would stick to it. With this? Nothing sticks. My new stone still looks brand new after a few bakes. Just a couple spots to clean off and they came right off. I had already ordered a new hardwood pizza peel to try to make launching better, but I got this just after placing that order and it worked so well I cancelled that order. If you're making your own dough and using a peel to get it into the oven, this will make you smile.
