The build quality is actually pretty good for a budget bag. It comes in a clean grey fabric that looks nice, and it has a dedicated padded section in the back that easily fits a 15.6-inch laptop. There's plenty of room in the main compartment for notebooks and textbooks, plus three zippered pockets on the front that make it easy to organize random cables and chargers. They also throw in a detachable mesh net at the bottom that's meant for a basketball or a helmet, which is a cool bonus, though I mostly just leave it packed away. The shoulder straps and the back panel have a good amount of mesh padding, and the chest buckle helps distribute the weight well so it doesn't kill my shoulders when the bag is fully loaded. It came packed in a simple clear plastic wrap inside the box. Overall, if you need a lightweight daily commuter bag that can actually handle a skateboard, this is a definite buy.
