Surprisingly well constructed for the price. I bought 5 pairs in various styles and colors. What a bargain! These are barefoot (zero-offset, flexible rubber soled) shoes … so be prepared for marvelous toe-splay room, healthy tendon stretch (because barefoot stance elongates calf), excellent natural lateral stability, superb non-slip sole grip, virtually no cushioning, no arch support, and lots of ground-feel. The beauty of these very affordable shoes is this: YOU CAN INVEST IN THE IDEAL INSOLES FOR YOUR NEEDS. Everyone has unique feet and preferences, so find your favorite insoles and put $40 there instead of buying $200 Hokas. Want more arch lift, deep heel cup, metatarsal cushion, gel or foam cushioning? Find your ideal insole and trim to fit these shoes. No break-in, they're great from the moment you put them on. If y'all have Hobbit feet (wide forefoot, regular heel, high instep) you will want to try these. Love love love Hobibear shoes. (And they're really cute, too, especially with scrunch socks.)
