This map mouse pad is laying flat, no curily edges. The stitching is awesome, with the friction use we give it not even one thread out of place. Both of us do not have a wrist problem. Christmas is coming, I highly recommend this item. Also, this is a great learning tool about where other countries are. We also flip it just to keep any ware even, but I see no ware at all.
