This is an awesome blender. It has a powerful 1400 motor and makes quick work of firm fruits and vegetables into smoothies or soup. I ordered this because my other name brand blender finally failed, and I didn't want to spend a fortune to replace it. I'm glad I choose this one. It has a pulse button for chopping and full speed for purees. You can even make almond butter. Two thumbs up for this gem.
