This keyboard is pretty nice. It's a wireless HE keyboard so it's pretty good for that. The lighting is pretty good the caps lock turns the whole switch white which actually stands out well with the shine through side printed caps. The contours colorway is nice as the contours are shinethrough and look pretty good. It has auto dim timeout of a minute or so. It's a fairly annoying short timeout to save battery but is frustrating when in the dark and you need the shine through. You have to wake it up by tapping something which may or may not actually go to the computer. This also isn't really a unique thing to this board. It has a 5,000 mah battery which is respectable. I opened it up to mod it and the battery spec is authentic. The feel is plastic and it can feel pretty light and hollow. This isn't unique for budget boards also HE tends to push towards a more rigid less flex board for the integrity of the switches. That said I had got the black one and ended up liking it. I wanted to try and improve some of the hollow feel and sound of it since I was going to be daily driving it some. Taking it apart isn't the easiest thing. There are 5 screws underneath the caps and then a frame that has plastic snaps that you can use a guitar pick tool to pop around and remove. Then 3 ribbons. It has multiple foams and on the bottom an actual whole custom rubber insert along the bottom. This is nice but doesn't actually do much to stop the plastic bottom from feeling hollow. This is also pretty common. For this reason I already had some silicone mix and poured some into the bottom housing and put it back together. This firms up the bottom layer and adds a little bit of weight which makes it feel and sound much better in my opinion. Modding budget keyboards is a super common thing and pretty standard. I think doing that small thing increased this from a low 7 to a high 8 in terms of feel and sound. I also did think it made such a big improvement and value to the board that I saw the white one and really wanted that colorway too. I later seen the red/pink contours one and that seems nice too. I wont get 3 but it looks nice. So since the first review of the black one I think I like it more after some light modding with silicone mix. Also the switches feel good. Even budget switches nowadays feel nice and nobody really lubes switches after as mod much anymore as it usually is never needed. Case mods like liquid silicone seem like the main value. Oh and if you do pour silicone just remove or seal around the daughter board for the charger and mode switch. I forgot and had to go back and pull silicone out of the charger part and switch. lol

Firstly, I was surprised by the heft of this keyboard. It's made of metal, and while also being very durable, serves a functional purpose because this keyboard stays right where you put it. The 68 key form factor means this is a very small keyboard, and there's often an issue with the keyboard moving around during use. However, this keyboard largely solves that problem by being considerably heavier than others. In addition, the case has large grippy feet on the bottom, but it does not have legs to allow for elevator/angle adjustment at all. It's a feature nobody really needs anyway. This keyboard has one angle for use, which is almost flat, but not actually. As far as ergonomics goes, it's comfortable to use and would work well with any after-market padding your desk setup may have. The functionality of this keyboard is an important topic here because the keys use a different technology and are thus very different functionally. The buttons work the same, except they dont "click" in the same traditional way. Instead, there's a smooth path of travel from start to finish. The point at which the system decides the button has been pressed is very early in the path of travel as well. Not at the very end like you might expect. So the key presses register very quickly, and mashing harder on the keys doesn't have any additional effect. The buttons are reminiscent of analog triggers like RT %26 LT on an Xbox controller. Where they feel similar to throttling pedals, except the system only registers boolean values from key presses. So they can only ever be off or on at the end of the day. The key presses are clacky but otherwise fairly quiet because they do not have a mechanical click. It's not a stealth keyboard, but it's also not loud either. The rigidity of the keys actually feels more solid than most, and the keys don't raddle in their sockets. Lending to a very premium feel to the keyboard overall. The lighting of this is quite nice and easy to use. Since the keys have a transparent layer, the patterned design on the keys really shines through and has a high quality aesthetic. There are many different styles for the lighting effects, including several "reactive" effects that happen when you press keys. As well as several types of fades and animations like a chase, rain drops, and a few others. The functions allow selection of rainbow and individual primary colors as well as adjust the speed of the animation and the brightness. It was all very simple to figure out as well. Once set, it remembers your settings even after being unplugged. Overall, I would say this is a top-level premium keyboard that is optimized for competitive gaming while also being very attractive and manufactured from high-grade materials. It's built to compete and built to last. Pros: 8k polling. Hall effect keys. Metal frame. Unique topographic pattern design. RGB lighting. Customizable effects. Includes stickers. Carrying Strap.
