The dress looks exactly like it’s pictured

I received my linen dress today and I was happy to see that it arrived packaged well and clearly brand new. When I opened it up, I was also happy to see it didn’t have any obvious smell (I’m sensitive to “fragrance” and other chemicals so this was great news.) I immediately washed it on a cold, delicate cycle in my front-loading washing machine; in a garment bag. When I took it out, I hung it up to dry and was happy that it still looked brand new. I would say it generally fits as expected, but actually with more room in the chest then the size chart would suggest because the back has elastic sewn at the top so it’s stretchy (I’m 32DD and it fits nicely with room to spare.) The tie at the chest can be untied and re-tied to your liking. It also goes down past my knees, just like shown in the product photos. It is the exact same color as the product photos suggest as well. It’s nice to receive something that actually looks like the pictures on the listing. 100% Linen is a great choice for keeping cool in warm weather, and so much healthier than polyester! I’m happy with it.

The dress they sent me is not the one I ordered

I was expecting a linen spaghetti strap black dress that was down past my knees in length, because that was what the listing was for when I ordered. Instead, what they sent me is a very short miniskirt type dress with full coverage on the top and shoulders area, and ruffles. Yes it is black, and yes, it is made of linen, but it is absolutely not the dress I ordered. I am so tired of receiving a product that is not the one that I ordered. This is the second time in about a month that Walmart has done this to me. Anyway, the dress is see-through, and the zipper gets stuck about halfway down when I tried to unzip it, so the quality does not justify the price in my opinion. I’d say buyer beware because who knows what they’ll actually send you.

About this review:Walmart fulfilled this order and the fulfillment issues were not the fault of the seller.
