they are snug but not tight
my hands are wide and these are a size medium men's. they fit the width nicely. if I get a large then the fingers are way too long. I like the grip on the palm although it doesn't look like it would last through a lot of hard use. my goal is warm hands during snow shoveling. it is not a struggle to pull them on but it isn't super easy either how it would be with oversized gloves. so, just right. i do have to loosen the strap all the way. I would buy them again for sure

Runs big. Very warm.
They were far too big for me but fit my husband nicely. They are completely waterproof. I ran them under an outdoor faucet and felt nothing. They are heavy, and if you are using them for outdoor work, you will sweat, but OTOH you will never feel a thing because they are quite warm. Alas, they run big. I was surprised, but it worked out well.
